A Salina business has been bilked out of $28,000.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that between April 15th and April 18th, JRI Management transferred $28,000 to an account which they believed belonged to one of their business partners. The scammer contacted the company using an e-mail address that was very similar to the partner's.
JRI manages 34 Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, and three Mokas Bistro locations in Kansas.
