Salina Police are investigating a Monday night stabbing.
Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that officers were sent to Salina Regional Health Center at 10:36 pm where a 31-year-old man was being treated for three stab wound to the upper chest.
According to Sweeney the man, identified as 31-year-old Brennan Jefferson, said that he was attacked by "2 or 3 people" while he was out walking. Jefferson would not provide a description of the attackers, or say where the attack happened.
Jefferson's injuries required surgery.
