A drowsy driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash near Salina on Interstate 135.
Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan says that 29-year-old Jason Hope of Smith Center was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a long flatbed goose neck trailer, headed south. Hope fell asleep, went through the median, and hit a bridge rail at Mulberry Creek in the north bound lanes.
Hope complained of neck pain at the scene, and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center.
The crash happened just after 6:30 Monday morning.
