Law enforcement and EMS converged on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University Tuesday morning to simulate a scenario that has become all too real across the country, an active shooter on campus.
Multiple local agencies including the Salina Fire Department, Salina Police Department, and Saline County EMS all participated in an active shooter drill. Students in KWU’s Emergency Management and Criminal Justice programs were also part of the event.
Students were in full makeup replicating their injuries.
