A New Cambria woman received a scare yesterday morning when she was woken up by a man trying to kick in her front door.
The victim told the Saline County Sheriff's office that a white male in his mid 20's was attempting to kick in the door. When the woman opened the door, the man fled on foot northbound, but not until the woman's therapy dog, a schnauzer, ran after the man and bit him on the arm.
