The long-debated Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington has been reinvigorated.
Last week iconic Kansan Bob Dole launched a major raising effort for the project.
This week, several promonent Americans, including two former presidents, are joining the effort. The newsest members of the memorial’s advisory committee include:
Former President George H.W. Bush
Former President George W. Bush
Secretary James A. Baker III
General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.)
Former Senate Majority Leaders Tom Daschle, Bill Frist, George Mitchell and
Trent Lott
