A Salina man is facing criminal charges after allegedly altering a check.
Police say that Logan Smith of Salina received a check from an acquaintance on November 11th in the amount of $550. He cashed the check the next day at a bank.
When the check was cashed, though, it had been altered to $1,550 instead of the original amount of $550.
Smith could face charges that include forgery and theft.
