Hundreds of area students jammed into the Stiefel Theatre Friday morning for a sneak peek of The Best of Broadway set for this Sunday.
According to Executive Director Adrienne Allen with the Salina Symphony, about 1,200 4th graders from USD 305 schools, plus elementary students from Abilene, McPherson, Southeast of Saline and Lindsborg filled the seats for a performance that boasted hits from renowned composers like Lloyd Webber, George Gershwin and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
The Salina Symphony also performed a medley of patriotic songs to honor and remember the service of military members on Veteran's Day.
