The discovery of a large amount of cocaine during a traffic stop has prompted federal charges against two people. According to U.S. Attorney Tom Beall's office, 117 pounds of cocaine was found hidden in their car when they were stopped for a traffic violation in Wabaunsee County.
Marco Antonio Aispuro, 48, and Maria Janeth Moreno-Cento, 39, were charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. In addition, Moreno-Centeno was charged with one count of unlawfully re-entering the United States after being deported.
