Volunteers are sorting thousands of books that are going on sale at the Salina Public Library this weekend.
Books from the library's shelves and donated items from the public will provide stacks of selections for patrons to choose from.
"We'll have people lined up at 9am Saturday morning to get in there first and just kind of browse around," said Library Director Joe McKenzie.
"We'll have families come so there is different generations. There will be grandparents and grandchildren coming and talking about books and taking them home, and the books are so inexpensive."
