A Salina man was arrested for attempting to steal from a business.
Salina police were notified from the owner of Sweet on You that she had been alerted from a remote security monitoring system on her phone that an intruder was in her business at 11:40.
When police arrived, they noticed a window pane on the front door was broken.
Upon entering the business, police found a locked room, and when they unlocked it, they found 59-year-old Charles Jones hiding. Jones allegedly attempted to steal $200.18 from the business.
