The Abilene Cowboys moved to (6-0) (4-0) on the season with a 35-14 victory at Clay Center Friday night. With the win the Cowboys clinched a share of the NCKL title which is their third league crown in a row.
The Cowboy defense entered the game with 15 takeaways and added four more Friday night with all four coming in the first half for the Tigers. Abilene was able to turn the turnovers in 13 points.
