It's rivalry week on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina. The Coyotes, and their rivals the Bethany Swedes, square of in a couple of different competitions.
It started on Wednesday night on the KWU campus. To the delight of a raucous student body crowd that packed the north stands in Mabee Arena, the Coyote Volleyball Team swept the Swedes 25-15, 25-10, 25-21. The victory bumped the Coyotes to a half-game ahead of idle Friends in the conference standings, two games back of conference leader Ottawa in the standings.
