A Salina man is in jail after allegedly placing a knife to the throat of a woman he was arguing with.
Police arrested 27-year-old Matthew Levin on Saturday after he left a party at the Berschel Apartments where witnesses told officers they heard a woman scream from the kitchen.
Levin then left the scene in a cab.
Police say the 28-year-old woman had a red mark on her throat but did not require medical attention.
Levin is facing charges of aggravated battery.
