A Salina man nearly falls victim to a bail bond scam.
Police say that a male in his 20s had been arrested and bonded out on Friday by B&K Bonds. The man received a phone call from a man claiming to be Dennis from B&K Bonds, saying that they needed $650 to maintain his bond.
He received orders to send the money via Moneygram. The man headed to Walmart to do so, but before sending the money, called B&K Bonds himself. They informed him it was a scam, and that he should not send the money.
