UPDATE: A child was killed, and six other people were hurt Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash west of Salina. The crash happened at the intersection of K140 Highway and Burma Road.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Joslyn Gieber was driving a 2007 Dodge Nitro, headed north on Burma Road. She stopped at a stop sign at K140. Gieber then failed to yield the right of way, entered the highway, and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was headed west
The Trailblazer overturned, and one passenger who was not buckled up was ejected.
