A drowsy teenage driver was hurt when he rolled an SUV he was driving multiple times in a crash east of Salina.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Ramses Jimenez was driving a 1997 GMC Jimmy, headed North on Simpson Road.
Jimenez fell asleep and the SUV entered the east ditch striking a ditch embankment and a mailbox. He then overcorrected, causing the SUV to roll multiple times. The Jimmy came to rest on the east side of Simpson Road, on the driver's side of the vehicle.
