A couple of incidents involving a gun prompted the arrest of a Salina teen.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that 17-year-old Zachary DeGraw was arrested Saturday evening, after a shot was fired from a handgun.
Police were sent to the area of 9th and Otto to the report of a shot being fired from a handgun. Witnesses saw a person on foot discharge a gun, pointed to the west.
A short time later DeGraw was located near Haskett and Cloud Streets, and a high powered semi automatic handgun was recovered.
