Sketches will help convey some "what if" scenarios for Downtown Salina as planners and the public gather for a sharing of ideas and concerns Tuesday evening.
Salina Mayor Jon Blanchard told listeners on the KSAL Morning News that conceptional drawings by landscape architects will help paint a picture of the proposed $100-million dollar makeover that leans on private and public funds.
"We're talking about a three lane Santa Fe with wider sidewalks downtown and outdoor dining," Blanchard said.
"The architects also look at how you integrate public places like sitting areas and plazas and bike racks and information kiosks."
