The unique Salina event was a celebration of the natural side of Salina, and positive environmental impacts that are being made in the community.
There were nearly 60 booths and exhibits at Discover Salina, Naturally. Mixed in with the environmental message of ways to make a positive impact there were activities, live animals, historical characters from Salina's past, food, and entertainment. There was everything from a historic mountain man encampment to live caterpillars that will one day transform into beautiful Monarch butterflies.
