The Salina Symphony will be marking its 60th year with a special performance on Sunday afternoon at the Stiefel Theatre.
"A lot of people are helping to make this happen, said Ken Hakoda, Conductor for the Symphony.
Hakoda joined in on the KSAL Morning News with a preview of an event that will also bring a combined choir on stage of 250 members, "So I have a big chorus coming in from all the high schools in town. Sacred Heart, Salina Central, Salina South, Southeast of Saline plus the Salina Choral and my college choir," Hakoda said.
