Two Vehicle Burglaries Lead to Theft of Two Purses

Salina police are investigating two vehicle burglaries that happened on the 800 and 900 blocks of Elmhurst on Friday afternoon. Around 2:45PM on September 25, the passenger side window of a vehicle parked at 929 Elmhurst was smashed in, and a purse was stolen. During the same hour, another vehicle's passenger side window was broken just a block down and another purse was taken. The total loss and damage between the two incidents is valued at $520. No suspects have been named, and police continue to investigate the incidents.
