The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating a grass fire that was intentionally set early Friday morning.
Deputies were responding to a grass fire in Dickinson County around 1:30am when they discovered a fire also burning near Magnolia and Amos Road, east-southeast of Salina in a field.
Investigators also found shoeprints in the area of the grass fire.
A crew from Fire District #1 put out the blaze.
Only a small area was burned and no property was lost or damaged.
