According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, a mile of US 81 Highway has been closed to traffic after a diesel fuel spill left the driving surface slick. Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan says the sunshine Saturday heated up the oil that was spilled on the road and made it greasy and muddy feeling for drivers prompting the closure.
