Girl Safe After Reported Abduction

Salina police are investigating a reported abduction that happened last night. According to police, an eight-year-old girl was playing in her backyard last night when a vehicle pulled into the wooded yard and allegedly took her. The parents called into the police saying she was no longer in the backyard. She was able to get away from her alleged captor, and a deputy was able to find her. The suspect is an adult male, but at this time, Salina police have not released further information regarding the incident or the suspect.
