Forsyth Library on the campus of Fort Hays State University will be closed for several hours Tuesday as part of an "active shooter" exercise.
According to the school, the library will be closed from about 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The exercise is designed to test the capabilities of law enforcement and emergency management teams in case of an emergency situation.
