Captain Roger Soldan with the Saline County Sheriff's Office tells KSAL News that 14-year-old Madisen Thomason was transported to Salina Regional Hospital after she lost control of the utility vehicle she was driving.
Deputies say Thomason and a passenger, Tyler Weems, 17 were both thrown out of the UTV after passing a car in the 2300 block of Lightville Road on Saturday at about 5:20pm. Neither one was wearing a seat belt.
