Overland Park health officials are investigating another possible norovirus outbreak.
As many as ten patients and eight staff members at the University of Kansas Hospital's Marillac Campus have reported symptoms of the virus. Those include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
So far, nobody has been confirmed with the virus at the medical facility for children for treatment of mental illness and behavioral problems.
It is the third such similar recent outbreak in the Kansas City area. Similar outbreaks have been reported at a dinner theater restaurant and at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.
